Tiger Shroff (born Jai Hemant Shroff on 2 March 1990), is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. The son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt, he made his film debut with a leading role in the 2014 action comedy Heropanti, which earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut nomination.
Shroff went on to star in the action drama Baaghi (2016), which earned over ₹1.3 billion (US$19 million), and went on to star in its successful sequel Baaghi 2 (2018), which earned over ₹2.5 billion (US$37 million) worldwide, despite generally negative reviews from critics


Early Life
Shroff was born on 2 March 1990 to Indian film actor Jackie Shroff and his wife Ayesha Shroff (née Dutt). He changed his name to Tiger when he debuted in movies. He is the elder of two siblings; his sister Krishna Shroff is three years younger.
From his paternal side, he is of Gujarati and Uyghur ancestry and from his maternal side, he is of Bengali and Belgiandescent. Shroff is a devout Shiva attributing his physique to Shiva, and holding a fast every Monday as well as every Mahashivaratri festival.
He did his schooling at American School of Bombay. Shroff helped Aamir Khan to build his physique for Dhoom 3.He also holds a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo. Ever since a young age, Shroff's major hobby is dancing, and admires the dance forms breakdancingpopping, and locking. He notes Michael JacksonHrithik Roshan and Chris Brown as his idols and inspiration.
